The first stage of the Circuit of the Americas was completed in the 29th , with the Metropolitano/ BMH, Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, lifting the trophy champion of Copa Sul . Held in the very city of Florianópolis, Floripa Soccer complex was responsible to receive the competition that brought together more than twenty teams, including teams from outside the country.
Owner of an excellent campaign and regular throughout the championship, the Metropolitano won the title of the Copa Sul unbeaten by beating Foz F7 on the final day by 4 to 1. As the Santa Catarina staff was the real highlight of the tournament, it fell to the Metropolitano/ BMH also receive individual awards for best goalkeeper of the competition and championship playmaker delivered to Rodrigo and Marcao respectively. Continuing the Circuit of the Americas, the second stage will be the Green Cup, which will take place in the city of Goiania -GO, between 22 and 24 July.
