League of the Americas debut has many goals
The League of the Americas premiered on Friday afternoon (14) in Avellaneda, Argentina and featured a goal-packed round. In all, four games marked the beginning of the tournament and the nets swung 27 times. Highlight for the leaders of groups A and B, Atlanta and Atletico F7, respectively.
In the first match, Atlanta overcame Malvin's Uruguayans and took the biggest win of the night, winning 8-3. Monte VF then beat Almagro 3-2 and made their debut. Racing faced the Paysandu of Uruguay and calmly won by 3 to 1.
At the close of the first round, Atletico F7 overcame Villa Española by 5 to 2 and now leads their group.
