Third round set the qualifiers for the semifinals
The last round of the first phase of the League of the Americas defined the four best teams of the tournament. On Saturday night (16), the teams went back to the court and performed exciting matches. Best for Atlético F7 (BRA), Atlanta (ARG), Monte VF (ARG) and Racing (ARG), who won the place in the semifinals.
In the match that opened the third round, Monte VF secured their place in the group of four best after beating Villa Española by 7 to 6. Then two very tough matches in search of the classification. Racing and Malvin and Atlanta and Paysandu tied in 3 to 3 and in the Shoot-Outs, the Argentines got the better. In the game that ended the round, Atletico F7 was losing by 4 to 3 until the final minutes, however, the 10 Ide shirt managed to turn the game to 5 to 4.
