At the opening match of the America Cup, Mexico win Bolivia through Group B
The America Cup started on Saturday (07) in Lima, Peru. The opening match was between Mexico and Bolivia, with Mexicans defending the title they won last year. La Tri showed a combination of touches, dominated the game and beat the Bolivians 7-0.
The match valid for group B was the first of Bolivia in the competition, soon against the current champions of the competition. Mexico looked for the goal early on and finished the first half with a score of 4-0 on the scoreboard.In the second half, the Mexicans scored three more goals and closed the game by 7-0. The goals were Oscar Estrella (twice), Eddy Sánchez, Ernesto Valdez, Rodrigo Juarez, Axel Leonce and Hugo Rodríguez.
The teams are back on the court this Saturday. Mexico faces Colombia at 4 pm local time, while Bolivia plays against Brazil, right after. Costa Rica play in the next round.
