With support from the fans, Peru is champion of the American Women's Cup

After three days of competition, the two best teams in the Women's America Cup faced each other in the final. Peru and Brazil played a great game this Monday (09), with a Peruvian turn and full stadium in Lima. The homemakers came out behind the scoreboard, but were pushed by a crowd of fans, reversed the score to 3-1 and were crowned champions of America.


The first minutes were of Brazilian pressure in the opponent's attacking field, with the goal being scored at the beginning of the game. After the goal, the Peruvian team began to attack, but with the Brazilian defense holding well the alvirrojos advances. In the second stage, the crowd made the environment favorable to the housewives. With three goals, Peru turned the game and celebrated the historic title for the South American country.


The title only crowned Peru's perfect campaign in the competition. In five matches, they were five wins, with 15 goals scored and only one suffered throughout the championship. The team also included Peque, Annie and Henrique, best players, goalkeepers and tournament coach respectively. Check the complete list:
