Copa America Champion Brazil dominates the individual awards
Brazil is the great champion of the Copa America 2018. The team won the title after an unbeaten campaign in a group with strong teams and that had a of their biggest opponents in selection competitions. It was against the Mexican national team that Brazil forwarded the classification for the major decision and confirmed their main individual highlights. In front of Peru in the final the Brazilian national team was crowned champion of the Copa America 2018.
In the match against Mexico mainly shone the star of coach Marco Antonio Batata who bet on a tactical change and the team got the tie in the end. The coach's job was recognized with the award for best coach. In the Shoot-Outs against the Mexican national team goalkeeper Rodrigo Rocha defended three kicks and helped the team qualify for the final. As in the previous edition, Rodrigo was voted the best of the category.
In the decision against Peru Chayene was one of the highlights and along with the other performances was voted the best player of the tournament. The top scorer of Copa America 2018 was the Argentine Jose Bianco with six goals.
