Baltic United is F7 Spark Energy League champion in Ireland
Baltic United won the F7 Spark Energy League in Ireland. The team finished the competition with 41 points, one more than the strong team of Craiova University. Ireland's main league brought together the country's top nine teams competing in the two-round and 16-game competition.
The best player of the league was Eugeniu Anitoaie (Baltic United), while the prize of best goalkeeper was with Alexander Hrinchuk (Baltic United). The award for best midfielder went to Edvinas Stonkus (Sveikata). and the best defender was Piotr Czapla (FC Polonia). The competition's top scorer was Cristian Stancuta (Universitatea Craiova).
The teams from Baltic United and Sveikata are already preparing for the European Club Championships which will be played from 14 to 16 September in the city of Barcelona (Spain), while the teams of Craiova University and FC Polonia also have a chance to participate in the event that will lead the champion to the Football 7 World Club Championship in Brazil.
