NATIONS CUP. Brazil wins Colombia and is champion
The Football 7 Nations Cup was held in São Paulo (Brazil) in the men's and women's categories being played between Brazil, Chile, Bolivia and Colombia. The competition was disputed in the points system and Brazil was superior to the opponents in all the games, winning unbeaten the championship.
After beating Chile in the first round and Bolivia in the next game Brazil came to the title with a 5x2 victory over Colombia. This was the last official competition of the Brazilian National Team before the World Cup that takes place between 11 and 16 December. This is the third consecutive title won by the Brazilians. In December they had won the Intercontinental Cup and in April the America´s Cup.
