World Cup. Brazil wins Colombia and is women champion
The Brazilian Women's Team was the great champion of the first edition of the competition. The Brazilian team won all five matches played and put the name in the history of the modality that has been growing a lot in the female category. In the first phase Brazil defeated Chile, Argentina and Uruguay. In the semifinals hit the strong Mexico Team and in the grand final an exciting game against Colombia that ended tied in 1x1. In the decision for shoot-outs Brazil won.
The Brazilian national team in the last 12 months won the Intercontinental Cup, the Nations Cup and was runner-up of Copa America. In the race of third place Mexico defeated Argentina. The International Football Federation 7 has announced that the next edition of the World Cup will be held in Rome (Italy) in September 2019.
