COPA AMERICA. Ten national teams enter the field next friday
The Copa América de Futebol 7 is the most important national teams event in the continent and this year will bring together the national teams from South America only. FIF7 determined that this year the North American and Central American teams will compete for the Central America Cup in Guatemala and Football 7 World Cup in Rome (Italy).
The event takes place between April 05 and 07 in the city of Porto Alegre (Brazil). In the men's category the teams are divided into two groups with three teams. The best of each group qualifies directly for the semifinals, while the second and third place will play in the quarterfinals. The Brazil and Peru finalists of the last edition are the key players. In the women's category will be quadrangular and the two best teams will contest the grand finale.
