Leonas FC wins the Football 7 Super League for the fifth time
One of Mexico's top women's football 7 teams, Leonas FC won the Women's Football 7 Super League last Sunday (24). In addition to winning the fifth championship of the competition against Club Meave, the girls also secured a place in the Copa Centroamerica next season.
In the big decision of the Women's Super League, Club Meave had a chance to win the title for the first time. However, used to playing in the finals of the tournament, Leonas gave no chance to the opponent and won by 6 to 4, winning the competition for the 5th time. With the victory, the team also secured a place in Centro América 2020, a competition in which it was in second place in 2019.
